360 degrees....... really?
I have been doing some Geometry recently and it left me wondering why the hell we divide circles into 360 degrees. 360 Seems like such a random arbitrary number to me. A bit of research (time wasting) later and I am informed we have the Sumerians to thank for this. Apparently the Sumerians liked to work in base 60.
