dizzee

Dizzee Rascal’s track “Sirens”. The last minute of the song could be a Korn tune musically give or take a few sirens….

The same tune is re-done on the same album with different elements of really dirty drum and base later on proceded by a more jungle theme.

I have to say i think the first version with drums and guitars is much more distinctive. What do you think? Dizzee has just released the first version as a single. Both of these styles are a bit of a break from the norm for Dizzee but i am still liking them.

Another notable song off the album is “Where’s Da G’s” featuring UGK. This song is more traditional Dizzee rapping about shankin’ people and gettin’ paper. Less about beat and more about rap.

Having been happy at the arrival of “district 9″, which is well worth watching, i have been on the lookout for other possible sci-fi future blockbusters. The main ones that seem to be around the corner are.

Tron 2.0 (Based on the classic Tron which kicked ass)

Moon (A small Sundance film festival sci-fi that’s getting some good reviews)

and the outsider Avatar:

I am undecided as to if this might make a decent sci-fi movie perhaps falling too far into the realms of fantasy. Fantasy is a great genre by its self but  a mixture of the two always seems to go wrong. Let’s hope James Camerons reputation holds up and this isn’t just another CGI fan boy fest.

Avatar is now due towards Christmas time, the updated trailer is available on the apple site here. Fox might produce some bullsh*t news programs but they seriously seem to know where it’s at when it comes to quality programming.

I bought a Jermaine Rogers “Radiohead Woodlands 03 1st edition” print a while back …… The print is number 45 out of 250 that where produced.

Radiohead

As i am not exactly an art expert i have often wondered what its actual value is. I have recently stumbled upon the site expresso beans which has a price history for lots of different artists and their work.

I have not really considered selling my piece and looking over this art site has convinced me i might need to spend more money on cool art and prints.

Going through my web site referrers I noticed a lot of referrals from site and blogs I had never heard of. Visiting these sites I noticed they all had one thing in common, they where all stealing my bandwidth.

Time to hot-link them some GOATSE for revenge? Na I’m not quite that childish just replaced the images with blank ones.

I have plenty bandwidth of course, because this is only a small personal blog and the requests weren’t massive however I fail to see why I should be hosting things for this person.

MySpaceGirl

Can anyone see even the smallest reason why I would host something for her……ermmmmm. NEVERMIND…. thats not the point.

It’s possible I will try and implement some PHP to stop this happening or I might just leave it a while and screw around with the next person foolish enough to hot-link me.

Update

Yeah so i decided to have a little bit of fun here are some of the results:

I wonder if this guy will get band from this forum?

My space girl what will your friends think?

Oh dear..
